In February, the great orange clown attacked Iran. The justification and objectives change every day, but ostensibly it was to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, to destroy its missile arsenal, to degrade proxy networks, and to eliminate its navy.
i.e., regime change. Let’s be honest.
The U.S. and Israeli have targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders, the Defense Minister, and the Supreme Leader, assassinating many in the highest echelons of Iran’s government (plus collateral civillian deaths).
If liberating Iranians can only be achieved by indiscriminately killing thousands of innocent non-combatants, then this is indeed freedom.
If not, then it is murder.
And it is escalating.
In June 2025 (crawl out through the fallout, Bibi) I suggested that “Agent Orange may just have tipped us all into WWIII” and that “the rottenness in the state of Israel enlivens the predictions of nuclear war“.
If anything, that post seems prescient now, with Netanyahu breaking amimut (nuclear opacity) by confirming their nuclear capability. This plus “the Samson Option” means Israel would nuke Iran without a pang of conscience should the latter become too great a threat.
Which makes me wonder = who is the proxy, and what is the plan.
Trump’s threat to “obliterate” Iranian power plants if the Strait of Hormuz isn’t reopened within 48 hours was just extended.
TACO backflips again, as expected.
Had the attacks proceeded, it would just give Iran more rope with which to tie its own nuclear noose, because when the infrastructure dominoes start falling, the last one — Israeli nukes — will end the game.
A zero-sum game, admittedly.
Has anyone noticed? Whatever Israel wants, Israel gets.
I suspect that Trump, just as he does for Putin, plays monkey to organ-grinder Netanyahu.
The US is party but not privvy to the infernal politics of the Middle East, and while the market sways TACO Trump like a leaf in the wind, Bibi doesn’t give a shit.
Israel needs a quick and decisive victory before it runs out of missiles. It can’t do that unless America stays in the fracas, which America won’t do if oil is trending toward $300 a barrel — DJT’s billionaire puppetmasters won’t allow it — so what option if Iran stays the course?
Another hundrd-year war?
Nah.
The only decisive option left, one that Israel has been quiety preparing for a generation, is the bomb. If that comes to pass, then Nostradamus and Co., will be right.
The downside is that every Jew on the planet will be sh’erit ha-pletah, because Iran’s retaliation will be epic, one would almost say biblical.
